A Message from Mrs Carroll

I am very privileged to to be met with such enthusiasm for singing here at Hernhill Church of England Primary School, and so our Junior Choir has grown and taken part in many events both in and out of the school since September 2013. As well as singing in the Church at special school events, we have also sung at the Faversham Choir Festival, at Mount Ephraim, St Alphege Church in Whitstable, and even the 02 Arena in Greenwich!

Have a listen to our choir singing in the Faversham Schools' Festival below!

Young Voices 2020

What an amazing experience we had at the 02 arena.

Over 60 children (ages between seven and eleven) attended the event, and had an excellent time!

Faversham Choir Festival

This is the third year that the Junior Choir have been involved in the Faversham Choir Festival, and yet again, they were amazing!

Alongside four other schools in our collaboration (Ospringe, Ethelbert Road, Boughton and Davington), we sang to an audience of parents and friends. This year, particularly, all of the adults involved commented on the high quality of all the choirs - an amazing two nights!

St Alphege Church, Whitstable

In December, the Junior Choir (for the second year in a row), dressed in full school uniform (they looked amazing) sang carols to their parents and others who had paid to attend this event to raise money for the Church roof. Whitstable Brass Band accompanied the choir for a couple of the songs too, and inspired us all, particularly those who already play a brass instrument! Fantastic singing yet again - well done to you all.
