Clubs
Staff and external providers offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and enrichment opportunities for children at Hernhill C of E Primary School. These clubs take place both at lunchtime and after school, giving children the chance to discover new interests, develop talents, build friendships and enjoy being part of our wider school community.
Our clubs change throughout the year depending on the season, pupil interests and staff expertise. In previous years, clubs have included:
Eco club, football, tag rugby, speedstacks, basketball, cooking, art & craft, running, cross country, multisports, athletics, choir, French, board games, netball, badminton, archery, hocky, indoor sports, cricket, Creepy Claws, indoor adventure, sewing, drawing, ramblers, rounders, OPAL, singing & percussion, tennis, tri-golf.

After-School Care
Hernhill Enrichment Club
Our Enrichment Club provides children with a calm, caring and engaging end to the school day, led by familiar school staff in a nurturing school environment. Rooted in our vision of “Life in all its fullness” (John 10:10), sessions include a balance of play, creativity, outdoor activities, quiet time and friendship. Tax-Free Childcare can be used for all options.
Enrichment Explore
3:15pm–4:30pm | £6.50 per session
A shorter after-school session including enrichment activities and a healthy cold snack. Ideal for families needing flexibility beyond the school day.
Enrichment Extend
3:15pm–6:00pm | £13.50 per session
Full after-school care with enrichment activities, quiet homework/reading time and a more substantial snack/light meal provided in a calm, supervised environment until 6:00pm.
Club to Club Transfer
4:15pm–6:00pm | £9.00 per session
Designed for children attending a school-run after-school club first. Children can transfer directly to Enrichment Extend at the end of their club session and continue their evening with a snack, activities and supervised care until 6:00pm.
